Nicole is a former teacher who came out of the classroom to pursue her passion for writing curriculum.  She has worked for companies such as Teachers' Curriculum Institute and Aspire Schools, creating standards-based lessons and assessments that students and teachers find engaging.

Erin has taught middle school for over a decade. She also created curriculum for Teachers' Curriculum Institute, and has written for educational publishers such as Great Source, Zaner-Bloser, and McGraw-Hill.  She is currently both a teacher and a middle grade author--her debut novel, LOSING IT, came out this year and a second novel is due in 2013.

Both Erin and Nicole feel passionately about creating curriculum that soundly adheres to standards, but is also teacher-friendly and still able to spark students' interest.
